well! i was able to locate and disconnect the kill-switch on the cupcake. bikes starts first kick not. so i think that is a good sign my switch was going bad. all i broke was the genuine emblem on the from of the horn cast.

i am going to go out to the garage and attempt to disable the kill-switch to the cupcake as a first step in diagnosing the sudden death problem that is getting worse. wish me luck.
