The 2nd Annual Interim Summer Party! Let's get HOT HOT HOT!!!!

But through much hard labor on our part the "beach" is prepared! Bring on the bikini's!
Previously
used as the bedroom, it has been transformed into a private
beach. Last year one of our guests had a wee bit too much to
drink and threw sand at the end of the night. That guest
wasn't able to attend this year (yes we invited him) and we
THOUGHT were safe. Not so. I'll be dumping sand from my
shoes for weeks!
"Enjoy
the buffet!" We had Jambalaya, Bar-b-qued Chicken (Patrick
braved the snow covered balcony in his grass skirt for
everyone's eating pleasure, thanks Patrick!) and Potatoes
with Bell Peppers and Cheese (for our vegetarian
friends)

Everyone
got "lei'd" first thing upon arrival!
So next our lovely, and in some cases overdressed, guests arrived. And to think the Spanish Girls weren't even close to being the last.
In
the orange t-shirt (as opposed to David's orange coveralls)
we have second timer, Klaus and his girlfriend Petra! Having
attended last year Klaus knew to wear shorts. He also
brought us giant Toblerone. Yeah Klaus!
"Wow,
this is such a great party! They even had water wings for me
so I could go in the water! Heather and Patrick really care
about their guests safety." Heike explains to Carmen.
Heather takes an aerial shot of the dance
floor. "Come on people! Dance! Patrick didn't spend two
weeks recording our entire CD collection in MP3 format on
the Cube so tonight he could transfer them over the network
to the laptop, then connect the laptop through the stereo
for nothing. Have a little respect for the technology
here!"
Setting
the trend in the beachwear competition, the host and
hostess! And I'd just like to go on record as saying, it was
the perfect temperature for my outfit.
"Yahoo! This party rocks! Don't you think
Suzanne?" asked Letsa. "Um, ask me again later." replied
Suzanne.
"Oh
free drinks!" said the intern Theresa. David, Jennifer and
Suzanne remember being interns and support Theresa in her
quest.
After last year we decided we better cover
our antique buffet a.k.a. the bar, in plastic. Petra Alt
(center, red dress) wins the prize for longest attendance!
One of the first to arrive and last to leave! Congrats
Petra!
"We are professional Party Picture Actors
and Actresses. Rent us to make your party look fun and
exciting to the people who didn't show up!" Theresa, Letsa,
Jennifer and Letsa's friends are available at affordable
rates and we recommend them!
"Come
on girls. Gimme some tongue" said Letsa.
"Anything for you!" said Suzanne and Theresa. After Jennifer miraculously turned into Christelle, she thought she would sit this one out.
Check out the breast shot of Patrick as he
compares "beach attire" with David and Adam. In all fairness
to Adam, his Hawaiian shirt and grass skirt already got
shipped to the US. David is just a really creative guy and
interpreted the whole "beach attire" thing in an "out of the
box" fashion. That's why he's in Marketing! Go
David!
"How
much for the woman?" Adam tries to persuade Christelle to
move to the US with him.
Sindy
and Patrick after getting "lei'd". Don't they look
happy?
"I've fallen and I can't reach my drink!" The
unknown party guest. 
Ah ha! I think I've figured out how this
camera works. <flash> Arrghh! Eventually Juergen got
it worked out. 
"$#%@ it's hot in here!" Darragh! Watch your
language. This is a family site!
David tells Sindy about his "college job" on the Valdez.
"So I say to the Captain, 'I think we're about to hit
something' but would he listen? No. Now I have to spend my
weekends scrapping oil off of sea shells."
"If I didn't have this stupid sling I could
be drinking with both hands! Oh wait, that's how I got the
sling." Actually Alexandre got the sling fighting off the
SAP Mafia...no I mean in his martial arts class. Dislocated
shoulder. Second time in 3 months.
Man,
Theresa gives everybody the tongue! A mere 16 hours later
Sven dropped by to pick up the bag he left with us. His
advice? "Don't drink too much." Thanks Sven!
The happy married couple. Anastasia and
Eduard. Awe, how cute.
"Will you take me home? If I stay here,
Heather will make me clean tomorrow." begged Patrick to
Jennifer, Sindy and Suzanne. When he realized they would
also make him clean their flat AND he would have to do it in
the grass skirt, he stayed with Heather.
The Ladies Man! I'd say she's impressed. Way
to go Darragh!
Look
mom, all pupil!
"For some reason in every picture taken of
me, I'm surrounded by this halo of illumination. Must be
capturing my purity." said Rita.
The
stragglers. Darragh promised not to be the last person to
leave. Oh well.
The aftermath! Really this is nothing. You
should have seen last year! As usual our inventory of
alcohol has increased. We are net 2 bottles of gin, 1 bottle
of Pitu and 14 bottles of wine.
After rising at the unreasonable hour of noon, we set to work on cleaning. At a mere 20:30...
