made it to san antonio! had one slight problem outside neiderwald (lost all power in 4th gear) but rested the bike for 30 min and was fine the rest of the way. all sorts of old friends are here. hung out with bobo and rich tonight. got my picture taken by a guy from sweden. he said I may end up in a swedish scooter mag. then we talked about steig larsson and swedish politics. it was cool! having a great time so far.
my back hurt from the ride so I took a vicodine. now I can't sleep. this often happens with that drug. sucks. I feel great, am very tired, can't sleep. and I need my beauty rest for the 'miss style' contest tomorrow! gonna wear my pink hitchcock dress and pink tail. on a pink scooter, how can I not win?!

alas, i did not. i think i explain it in a subsequent blog. or is that a blog written only in my head so far? no worries though. we were all fabulous and had a great time!
