knitta, please!
urban graffiti can be seriously cool stuff. we have an artist here in austin, Magda Sayeg, who knits covers for things in urban environments. i knew instantly this was paris when i saw the picture.
she did an installation in austin this week to cover up some ugly blue signs along lamar (why ARE those signs there?).
here is a gallery of a bunch of stuff she has done! even a bus in mexico!

my tax dollars paid for the knitta please project too. i am glad about that one.
