rocking on!
i got my acceptance letter to the temple LVN program yesterday! when i pulled the mail out of the box i saw this letter from TC and though 'huh, i wonder what they are sending me' totally having forgot that letters would be coming out soon. it is wonderful news, especially on the heels of my A&P test success. LVN is my B plan but it is SO great to know i have one plan locked in. my stress level has plummeted as a result and if i were to interview at Apple again, i would kick-ass this time. everything is always so much easier when you have a B plan. i am getting more confident i can make it into the ADN program though. with this A&P exam victory it looks like an A in A&P 2 is totally possible. with my high HESI score and lots of co-recs completed, i feel i will be high on the list! now i just have to figure out how to make this work with my TAA registration. if i tell them i got into the LVN program, but want to wait for the ADN program, will they do that?
on a sad note alexander mcqueen committed suicide yesterday. he was a WONDERFUL designer! his mum died not long ago and i guess they were super close. the woman that 'found' him, Isabella Blow, committed suicide 3 years ago (after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer) and then to lose his mum. i guess it was too much. he was only 40 and so talented. he has a line that is suppose to debut next week. i wonder what they will do.
